Jesus paused before the most important moment in all of history and he prayed that the Father's will be done. As I follow in Jesus' footsteps, this blog is dedicated to providing all my supporters with praise and prayer points as we seek God's throne together about issues and needs surrounding the ministry.
The concept of mountain prayer is derived from those moments when Jesus would isolate himself for a personal time of prayer, often times on a mountain top. However it also encompasses many other great men of prayer; Daniel, opening his window three times a day as he put God first; Moses meeting with God on Mount Sinai to discuss plans for the people of Israel; and Job, pouring out his heart in complete honesty before God.
In Mathew 17:20, Jesus states that with faith as small as a mustard seed, mountains can be moved. Nothing is impossible. These prayer points may sometimes seem to be mountains of great height, however I am certain of this, collectively our faith exceeds that of a mustard seed.
"Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their in their midst." (Mathew 18:19-20.) This clearly indicates the power of collective prayer. It goes beyond one man or woman with a dream and steps into the realm of believers with a vision. I implore you to take hold of this vision with me and join me in prayer.
Truly, the impossible becomes possible!
